The 'Hoy No Circula' program establishes measures applicable to vehicular traffic, with the aim of preventing, minimizing, and controlling the emission of pollutants. To standardize and minimize the impact on the Megalopolis, Mexico City, and the State of Mexico, this measure was established to limit the circulation of private vehicles, regardless of the origin of the license plates. Different from the program used from Monday to Friday, vehicles that cannot circulate will depend on both the hologram and the plate's ending, divided into even (0-2-4-6-8) and odd (1-3-5-7-9). This Saturday, it will be vehicles with hologram 2 and foreign plates. It is important to mention that vehicles with Hologram 1, even plate ending, on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, and foreign vehicles on all Saturdays are also not allowed to circulate. The 'Hoy No Circula Sabatino' applies with the same restrictions as the regular one, starting at 05:00 and ending at 22:00. The only day when 'Hoy No Circula' does not apply to any vehicle is Sunday, which is excluded from all types of restrictions.
